Jewellery Care Information and Disclaimer

Our earring hooks are made from silver plated material. When wearing and to make sure to clean and store your jewellery with care.

How to clean

We recommend the use of a soft cloth with gentle rubbing. If needed jewellery can be washed in warm water with a mild detergent. Completely dry with a soft, nonabrasive cloth before storing.

Please do not wear in the shower, pool, or in bed. All jewellery should be removed first.

First Wear

We recommend when wearing your jewellery for the first time to take care to gently clean the silver plated hook earrings to remove any dust etc and to make sure they are hygienic to wear.  

Please note Poetic Betty does not take any responsibility for jewellery that is improperly cleaned or damaged during cleaning or wear. We do not accept returns on jewellery for hygiene reasons unless the item is faulty. 

Allergy Disclaimer

Although extremely rare, some people are allergic to the metals and finishes commonly used in making jewelry. It is the responsibility of the consumer to be aware of any allergies he or she may have to metals (gold, silver, etc.) or the oxidation applied to metals (liver of sulfur) prior to making a purchase.

As there is no way for us to know the history of the customer, Poetic Betty will not be held liable for any allergic reactions that may occur as a result of wearing our jewellery. 

Choking Hazards

As our jewellery features small beads and loops, please keep out of reach of children and other individuals who may ingest the jewellery or it's components.
